The 11th Annual Meeting of the Indo-German Working Group on Quality Infrastructure on 24 June 2026, from 9:45 AM to 12:00 PM CEST / 13:15 PM to 15:30 PM IST in hybrid mode.

 

The Working Group is jointly led by the BMWE and the Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (MoCAF&PD), Government of India. It was established in April 2013 to reduce technical barriers to trade while enhancing product safety and consumer protection. The Annual Meeting provides a platform to present progress and align on future cooperation objectives.

What to expect:

  • Discussions on digital transformation, regulatory developments, and innovation in Quality Infrastructure (QI).
  • Exchange between policymakers, industry leaders, and technical institutions.
  • Identification of future areas of cooperation and priorities for continued Indo-German collaboration in Quality Infrastructure.
  • Review the progress of activities under the Indo-German Working Group.
