Industry 4.0 and Retrofitting: Opportunities for the Industry in Mexico

This event is organized by the Global Quality Infrastructure Project (GPQI), commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), and the Mechanical Engineering Industry Association (VDMA) in collaboration with the PAGSID project of the Federation of German Industries (BDI), Idea GTO, and the Business Coordinating Council (CCE).

We will present the Quick Guide to the Global Production Language, a key tool for Mexican companies to modernize their equipment through retrofitting solutions aligned with the principles of Industry 4.0. The VDMA will demonstrate how this language can optimize processes in smart and connected factories.

Additionally, an exclusive workshop will be held where the key challenges and opportunities for the adoption of Industry 4.0 in Mexico will be analyzed. This space will allow you to engage in dialogue with international mechanical engineering experts and explore how retrofitting can boost the competitiveness of Mexican companies.
