1. GPQI's new Project Director: Susanne Friedrich
Dear GPQI newsletter subscribers
A warm welcome to this edition of the newsletter also from my side. My name is Susanne Friedrich and I am the new Project Director of GPQI. In the following I would like to introduce myself to you.
I am an organisational developer with large experience in capacity building and multi-stakeholder management. My professional career started at the Chilean Export Promotion Bureau (ProChile) in Germany. After that, I worked as an advisor for public-private partnerships in development cooperation for several years. Before joining GPQI, I spent more than 5 years leading the Alliance for Integrity, a global business-driven, multi-stakeholder initiative seeking to promote integrity along global supply chains, with hubs in India, Indonesia, Brazil and Mexico, among other countries. Previously, I had worked in various projects of the German development cooperation in Latin America and Germany, in fields such as inclusive business and export promotion for SMEs. I also directed a regional project dedicated to capacity building for decentralisation in the Andean region.
I am very much looking forward to being part of the GPQI team and working with you.
Best wishes Susanne Friedrich

Susanne Friedrich
