The Global Project Quality Infrastructure (GPQI) is a multi-stakeholder platform involving QI bodies, associations, industry, and scientific institutions, all participating in discussions on standards, technical regulations, conformity assessment, accreditation, market surveillance, and product safety. This preparatory meeting with German stakeholders aims to coordinate key topics for the GPQI conference in Berlin on 15 May and the 10th Annual Indo-German Working Group on Quality Infrastructure. Participants will discuss opportunities and challenges related to:
- Technical regulations and Quality Control Orders (QCOs) in India,
- Joint promotion of international standards,
- Strengthening product safety,
- Simplifying certification processes, and
- Cooperation on topics such as the Digital Product Passport
