The Importance of Cybersecurity in the Digital Transformation of Companies - Spanish

The publication "The Importance of Cybersecurity in the Digital Transformation of Companies" is the first of four volumes in the series that delves into the importance of cybersecurity in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). It underscores the pivotal role of internationally harmonised standards in ensuring cybersecurity and information security across value chains.

This publication provides an overview of fundamental concepts of cybersecurity to assist MSMEs in identifying their information management needs. The booklet also analyses the inherent risks associated with their digital transformation processes.

Stakeholders in the bilateral group of experts of the project line "Cybersecurity in the context of digitalisation and Industry 4.0" jointly worked on this publication. This iniative is part of the work plan of the German-Mexican Dialogue on Quality Infrastructure. Its primary objective is to strengthen the implementation of internationally harmonised standards in the realm of cybersecurity and information security.  This is to ensure globally secure and resilient value chains.
